I wish to introduce these definitions for your future use, with a link to an article about these definitions:

  • Data: facts
  • Information: captured data and knowledge
  • Knowledge: personal map of our experience

Why are these definitions important? Why are definitions important at all? Would a Universal Library that contained only data be a complete library, but more importantly, wouldn't it then be impossible for such a library to exist solely on data (if we use the definitions above)? Would a Universal Library that contains information (as per the definition above) contain anything of the arts, or their performance or exhibition?
